2IR Remote Control Extender over HDMI

Control compatible infrared devices from another location using an existing HDMI cable with this compact IR remote control extender.

The system carries infrared remote-control signals through the CEC channel of a standard HDMI connection, making it useful when your source device is located away from the television or display.

• Transmission distance up to approximately 25 meters

• Dual-band IR support from 30–60 kHz

How It Works

Connect the two HDMI adapters through a standard HDMI cable. One adapter connects to the HDMI source device and the other to the display.

The supplied IR receiver captures commands from your remote control and sends them through the HDMI connection to the IR transmitter positioned near the source device.
