Last updated: 24 August 2026

Nissakee Trending respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, why we use it, how it may be shared and protected, how long it may be retained, and the rights available to you regarding your personal data.

1. Introduction and Current Website Status

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected when you visit or interact with nissakeetrending.com.

Nissakee Trending is currently being prepared for commercial launch. Online payments and checkout services are not yet active. This policy describes the processing that currently takes place and identifies additional processing that may begin after online sales are activated.

This policy is intended to comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable Greek data protection law.

The owner of the website and current Data Controller is:

3. Personal Data We May Collect

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, and information included in messages sent to us;
  • Account information: username, account email, saved addresses, and account preferences if account registration is available;
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, requested pages, date and time of access, and security logs;
  • Shopping information: products viewed, cart contents, and related WooCommerce session information;
  • Order and transaction information: customer identity, billing and delivery details, ordered products, payment confirmation, delivery status, and customer service history once commercial sales are activated;
  • Cookie and preference information: essential website settings and, where consent has been given, optional analytics or marketing preferences.

We do not currently accept online payments. Complete payment card details will not normally be collected or stored directly by Nissakee Trending when payment services are activated.

4. How We Collect Personal Data

Personal data may be collected:

  • directly from you when you contact us, create an account, complete a form, or later place an order;
  • automatically through essential cookies, server logs, security systems, and website technologies;
  • from service providers involved in hosting, website security, payment confirmation, fulfillment, shipping, or customer support;
  • from suppliers or carriers when they provide order or delivery updates after commercial sales begin.

5. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data only where a valid legal basis applies.

  • Website operation and security: to display the website, maintain essential functionality, prevent fraud, detect abuse, and protect systems. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
  • Responding to inquiries: to answer messages and provide support. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and, where the inquiry concerns a possible contract, steps requested before entering into a contract.
  • Accounts and future orders: to manage customer accounts, process orders, arrange delivery, handle returns, and provide customer service. The legal basis is performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract.
  • Legal and accounting obligations: to keep records, issue documents, comply with tax requirements, and respond to lawful authorities. The legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation.
  • Optional analytics or marketing: where such tools are introduced, they will be used on the basis of consent when consent is legally required.
  • Legal claims: to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights. The legal basis is our legitimate interest and applicable law.

We do not rely on your general use of the website as consent to all data processing. Where consent is required, it will be requested separately and may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use essential cookies and similar technologies required for security, account access, shopping cart functions, language or display preferences, and other core operations.

Essential technologies may be used without consent where permitted by law because the website cannot function correctly without them.

We have not identified active Google Analytics or Meta Pixel tracking on the current public website.

If optional analytics, advertising, or similar non-essential technologies are introduced, this policy and the cookie information will be updated. Valid consent will be requested before these technologies are activated where required.

You will be able to withdraw or change any optional cookie consent as easily as it was given.

7. Recipients and Service Providers

Personal data may be disclosed only where necessary to appropriate service providers, including:

  • website hosting and infrastructure providers;
  • WordPress, WooCommerce, website administration, security, backup, and anti-spam service providers;
  • email and customer support providers;
  • payment service providers once online payments are activated;
  • suppliers, fulfillment partners, logistics providers, and carriers once orders are accepted;
  • accountants, legal advisers, insurers, or public authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.

Service providers may process personal data only for authorized purposes and subject to appropriate contractual and security obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

8. International Data Transfers

Some hosting, technology, supplier, fulfillment, or logistics providers may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). As a result, personal data may be transferred outside the EEA.

Where the GDPR requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will rely on an applicable adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

International suppliers and delivery providers will receive only the information reasonably necessary to process and deliver an order after commercial sales are activated.

9. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to comply with legal obligations.

The retention period is determined according to:

  • the duration of an account or customer relationship;
  • the time required to respond to an inquiry or resolve a complaint;
  • applicable tax, accounting, consumer protection, and limitation periods;
  • security, fraud prevention, and dispute requirements;
  • whether consent has been withdrawn or a valid deletion request has been made.

Data that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized, or securely restricted, unless continued retention is required by law.

10. Your Rights Under the GDPR

Subject to the conditions and limitations of applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • receive information about how your personal data is processed;
  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • object at any time to direct marketing;
  • receive certain data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
  • not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects, subject to applicable exceptions.

To exercise a right, contact support@nissakeetrending.com. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity. Requests will normally be answered within one month, subject to extensions permitted by law.

11. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for data protection in your country.

In Greece, the competent authority is:

Hellenic Data Protection Authority
Website: https://www.dpa.gr/

We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve your concern, but doing so does not limit your right to contact a supervisory authority.

12. Mandatory and Optional Information

Information marked as required in a form must be provided to use the related function or, once sales are activated, to process an order.

If required information is not provided, we may be unable to respond fully, create an account, complete a contract, process an order, or arrange delivery.

Optional information may be omitted without affecting unrelated website functions.

13. Automated Decision-Making

We do not currently use personal data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

If automated fraud prevention or other significant automated decision-making is introduced, this policy will be updated with the information required by law.

14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encrypted connections, access controls, software updates, security monitoring, and appropriate service-provider safeguards.

No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. If a personal data breach creates a legal notification obligation, we will notify the competent authority and affected individuals as required by law.

15. Children

The website is not intended to collect personal data knowingly from children who cannot lawfully provide valid consent or enter into a purchase contract.

If you believe that a child has provided personal data unlawfully, contact support@nissakeetrending.com so that the matter can be reviewed.

16. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to third-party websites. Those websites operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their independent processing practices.

For additional website terms, please see our Terms Of Service.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes, including the activation of checkout, payment, analytics, fulfillment, or marketing services.

The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
